it only costs 100-150$ here depends on the brand

Maybe your HDD is corrupted or? 


IDK if this is true but Higher storage, High Risk
that is why all my HDD and SDD doesnt exceed 500gb

rly dunno. but 2 500 HDD is exp than 1 1tb HDD.

Processor: Intel Core i7-720QM (1st generation, among the first of them bois out there)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M
HDD/SSD capacity (and brand): Micron Crucial M550 128 GB (Micron is pretty amazing, they've been working on stuff like HBM2, GDDR5X and QuantX which is just Intel's 3D XPoint and their SSD has been pretty reliable for me)
OS: Windows 10 Pro Insiders Preview (latest features before anyone else, but I hardly ever use Windows) + openSUSE Tumbleweed (Linux, like Ubuntu but slightly different)
peripherals (optional): Logitech T620 as my mouse
your internet speed (optional): 100 Mbps back home (I'm on vacation rn been using LTE)

Whole storage, my partitions are 80/41 I think. Yeah I don't really need much disk space I just move heavy files to external storage.

uhh my desktop files only are over 200gb. But i try to be as economic on Tech possible, so i have only 2 hdd's 500gb extrernal and 2tb PC. If i get $$$ in future i will buy ssd or 2 or more hdd to RAID0 it (ill backup so no prob :P)

Tip: Don't keep whole files on your desktop (assuming that's what you meant). They slow down your computer dramatically. Shortcuts only.

yea they do it takes my pc to boot up for 10 mins..

nah, if you do backups often than your safe.

I have a laptop too who have the same specs except 16GB ram. It is a Dell Inspirion 15 7567 which has astonishing battery life (10+ hours of life).
