If you go to the event Spawn/place and you have stuff, i think there are pressure plates you will need to stand on to tp you inside the maze sooo your Inventory will be Cleared and you will Lose your stuff if you bring any with you. also it  says Food Will be provided so no need to bring anything with you.

 

Edit:also if you lose your stuff they won't be back

It means that if you step into the maze, your items will be removed. All of them. They will not be refunding any of your items if you wish to step in with them even after you've been warned.
