Live countdown to the Drop Party

Once the portal is on the /shop menu, we will be hosting an epic DP, of diamonds, other minerals and ores, as well as Mending books and tools, Extremes, God Items, Collectables, and  5 vouchers entitling the holder to a $10 donation.

 

Edit: After discussing it with my Officers, we have decided that we will be dropping some collectables and Den items as well.

 

Edit: The estimated value of the DP will greatly exceed $20 000 000 In game money.

 

Edit: The value of the DP has exceeded the $60 000 000 mark on 30/11/2017

 

 

In preparation for this event, we will start raising funds with auctions of  3x $10 donations. The proceeds of the auctions will go 100% into the funding of the DP

 (Done)

 

We will not keep a cent of it for ourselves.

 

Anybody who would like to donate toward the DP in the form of money, ores, gems or minerals is free to do so by posting in this thread, or send c4t4ly5t, relentless18, rooijan or jeshenel a PM if you wish to remain anonymous. (although we would be more than happy to fund the entire DP by ourselves)

 

Once the Plaza is open for business, the arrangements for the DP will be announced in this thread as well.

Thanks. We at HearthFire are all super excited about this as well, as this is going to be our first time hosting a DP. But I have a good feeling about it, though.

Not yet. It all depends on when the portal shop opens, and that's up to Admin, not me.

Once the shop is in the menu, further arrangements will be made.

Our reasons are simple:

1. Why not?
2. We can afford it.
3. Getting our shop into the /shop portal menu is a crowning achievement for us, so it's worth celebrating with overkill.
4. We are enjoying our time on this server so much that we want the entire community to share in our joy.
5. When we were noobs on this server (which wasn't really very long ago) we were shown kindness and generosity by countless more experienced players, and this is our opportunity to pay it forward.
6. Because Bitches be Crazy!!

The point remains that, whether our shops actually turn a profit or not, it is yet another achievement, another goal that my team and I have successfully completed through our teamwork, and we want to celebrate that. 

 

It just happened to be a coincidence that my team of Officers and I all feel that if something is to be celebrated, it must be done in style. It must be a memorable experience, both for us, and for the guests at our party.

 

TL;DR Overkill? Hell yeah! Why? Why Not?

It may take a very long "while" ..... For me already nearly 3 months for waiting for the shop to be moved ... T.T oh well I will donate 2 stacks of dime blocks so remember to pm me when I am online ... Also ...
