Yeah that's why I don't really like the system. My teachers are always like 'this question is gonna come for the exams, also this topic' and so on. Exams probably were meant to be for checking how much you had understood, but now it's just memorize, write, and repeat. There's probably a lot of stress you were facing before the exams, and after writing it, all that you mugged up just goes away with the stress. That is, you just forget what you memorized for your exam....so basically you were just giving it a temporary space in your brain and stuffing it into there for the purpose of writing an exam, not really understanding and actually embedding it into your knowledge.
I would also like to point out to the fact that majority of students who get good grades usually memorize their notes and etcetera. They're not really learning. They're just regurgitating. It wouldn't help them in the future neither.
Sure, just start off by dissing the education system of your respective country /s
Hi everyone !! Can I join this chat too ? I'ts getting boring in here...
Yeah all that's left is 10 hrs, you sleep for 8 (probably not even that) and 2 hours is yours, most of the students spend those 2 studying too. I've heard of many who couldn't handle it, studying for long hours lodged in a room, far away from their families, in coaching centres in opposite sides of the country for what? For passing an exam. If they fail to, then it gets so depressing that they just take drastic measures and leave behind their family. I mean the exam does decide your future, but the competition is so much nowadays that's it's not healthy anymore for the students as well as for the competition.
14 hrs is a bit overkill for a kid
Edit: sorry for starting off the page with a huge shitpost ;c
