When multiple large farms get triggered, our TPS (ticks per seconds) drops by a lot--lagging the sever. This creates a laggy and sometimes unplayable environment for everyone. We already have limits on other entities such as animals (16 per type per faction). However, we cannot put a limit on pumpkins falling down and pistons firing off. In trying to regulate the pumpkin farms, an extra load would be put on our staff, so we will simply stop buying pumpkins, melons, and sugarcane in the AdminShop. This change was to come in V3 anyway, so a bit sooner should not matter.
We will replace these with alternatives. We will increase the regeneration frequency in the mines to counter for this and add a new mine for dirt. We will also add some new 1.8 blocks in the stone mine (andesite, diorite, granite) and increase the amount of money received from selling to the admin shop from the mines.
