What causes this?
This issue seems to be more common with older and outdated graphics drivers, or the default driver on windows 10.

How do I fix it?
Try downloading more recent graphics drivers.

What's a graphics driver?
It's software that helps the part of your computer draw the pretty pictures.

How do I figure out what graphics driver I need?
Graphics cards (the actual hardware) comes in two forms: dedicated and integrated.

Integrated means you have it as part of your CPU.
Dedicated means you have a special card that attaches to your motherboard.

Once you know what type you have and from what manufacturer, you can figure out what drivers you need. The big graphics card companies are Intel, AMD, and NVidia.

How do I download a newer graphics driver?
The links below go to download pages for the respective companies. They all have driver detecting tools to help you update if you're not sure what model(s) you are using.

At the very least, you should know if you have a dedicated or integrated card and from what manufacturer.

If you have a laptop:

Download the latest drivers from your laptop manufacturers site.  Usually no installer from nVidia, Intel or AMD will work.

If you have an NVidia dedicated graphics card:

Download the latest drivers here

Link to auto-scanner if you do not know the card model

If you have an AMD dedicated graphics card:

Download the latest drivers here

Link to auto-scanner program if you do not know the card model

If you have an integrated graphics card:

If you have an Intel CPU:

Download the integrated graphics drivers here

Link to the auto-scanner program if you do not know the exact CPU model

If you have an AMD CPU:

Download the integrated graphics drivers here

Link to auto-scanner program if you do not know the exact CPU model

You cannot. This game renders over OpenGL.

This will help you to speed up your minecraft too. I already have three; AMD, Intel & NVIDIA.

Tried updating my graphics drivers, many times. If that doesn't work then there is a simple FIX!

  1. Go to https://launcher.moj...d/Minecraft.exe
  2. Download and launch Minecraft.exe
  3. When Minecraft launcher is opened, go to "Edit profile" and then copy "Executable" line in Java advanced settings.
  4. Go to TeamExtreme launcher, go to "Edit profile" and copy the NEW Executable line.
  5. Enjoy playing for free again!
