Arenas ARE finished, if you would have taken the time to read the library and signs outside the arenas, you would see that the PLUGIN is not updated. Nothing we can do about this until the coder decides to update it. And any server is going to have lag. Period.

Show me another server hosting a consistent 110-120 and spikes of 170 players at a time that doesn't experience it. In fact! Show me one that consistently has 40-50 that doesn't experience it. Now see if they have the same quality of game play and admin attention. Now you see why I juzzed in my pants.

So far, that is one of the best server I've ever had, and it was good call that I've downloaded that Minecraft torrent. All things are well-organized and balanced. Saves me a penny.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums (well haven't posted) but I've played since 21 April or so.
So far I have found it to be quite a good server that is mostly functioning.
No server is perfect but overall my first reaction was, "I love this library!" A very well built library certainly made me feel welcome, and well done to those who built it. The spawn point provided instructions that I read through and they covered a lot of info. Recommend everyone read it. However, I was slightly disappointed to see some spelling mistakes, such as civil being spelt "cival" in the first section and which being spelt "witch" in another section. There may be other mistakes that I haven't seen because I know that it recently updated with the new chat channels (Help, Global etc)

Once I had got out of the library, I realised that I had little knowledge of where to go. Wilderness was not explained very well in the library (a good definition would be something like "Find some land that is not already owned by other factions, ~Wilderness will pop up in the chat box" instead of "walk out until ~Wilderness pops up in the chat box". But I eventually learned, slowly however. I like the signs leading to shops and mob arena and the 4 exits though. Anyway I'll skip exploring the area around the library to cut this post a bit shorter.

I guess what I didn't know was that the best way to join a faction was to ask ppl in chat to join a faction. The library just said info about making your own faction. So instead I used /f join [a faction] on a faction without knowing that I "tried" to join a closed faction.
What I actually did was I joined a faction then left the next day to try starting out my own faction. On the way I was confused in how would I be able to get certain materials as it isn't as easy as in Single Player, and these things the library didn't tell me and I had to ask for myself in chat.

Now I am the leader of a faction, Manchus that had 5 people at the most, and learned quite a lot during the process.
What the library could do to improve is to fix up the spelling mistakes , add some more info about joining factions instead of creating your own faction, like which land you can claim etc. and possibly some more detail on getting resources, like mentioning examples of places such as the public forest,

I'll try and come up with a clearer explanation of what I mean later.

I wanted to stop in on the forum and show my appreciation for this well run minecraft community.
To start with the torrent is fantastic, to be able to play online for free is great.
Then the server is of good quality with great support. (It does lag at times however I fully accept this due to the scale and previous gaming experience on both PC and consoles. I come from a world of lag with most FPS games being a favourable preference.)
I had a problem with login details and a fix was as simple as downloading teamspeak and it was attended to at lightning speed.

I'm a complete minecraft noob (1 week playing time) so I don't understand the situation, however it would be great to be able to use to teleport and have mobs. Also I heard talk of a server reset and as a new player I like the idea. I was dissapointed to hear it woulnd't be happening soon.

Over all, more could not be asked for.. especially when it's been provided free and high quality!
