Getting the above error when starting the minecraft.jar, the launcher just starts, doesn't do anything, then quits. Using the latest client version.
Could not find the main class: net.minecraft.client.Minecraft. Program will exit.

 Dont use minecraft.jar
Copy those files into your old .minecraft in AppData REPLACE ALL FILES,
then start Minecraft up using the old Minecraft Launcher.exe that you used before

Also, if it's such a facepalm to start the minecraft.jar, the readme (http://forums.teamex...to-teamextreme/) might want to be revised.

I think it might be a problem with java.
Not sure though. Maybe something incompatible?
